check out www.moock.org to find out all the problems associated with macs
and flash.

There is even a downloadable script (the moock flash player inspector) for
detecting flash cross platform (even web TV!). Only problem is it comes
with a not for profit license. However he does cover all the other
techniques including mac friendly ones.

Colin Moock himself wrote the O'Reilly actionscript reference guide. He
knows a thing or 2 about flash.
