Re: FN-FORUM BigBlueSky turns grey!

According to our housemate there are connections for a cable TV
[although I'll be buggered if I can find them]. But the NTL website
and customer helpline people both say that broadband isn't available
in my postcode area anyway. Same with BlueYonder.
I can't believe that if I still lived in my home town of
Stoke-on-Trent [oop North] I could get broadband, but for some weird
reason, here in the centre of London, I can't get sweet f... anything.
You'd have thought that in *London* of all places I'd be able to get a
connection.
Still, just my luck, eh?
And for you information I am 22 and have no signs of becoming a
grandma yet. [apart from a liking of cardigans and mint imperials].
Charlie. [just spent an afternoon unsuccessfully cold-calling].

Have you / can you easily get cable TV? Have a shufti (peckham /
delboy
speak) round your flat for a cable TV box.
If you can, and can afford £33/month, then you probably can get a
cable
modem from www.blueyonder.co.uk I think there is a TV/modem
promotional
package as well which can save you quite a bit.
Apologies if I'm telling a grandmother how to suck eggs / connect
their
computer.
Also apologies for calling you a grandmother.
