I agree - PT/evening classes/short course are the way to go.
I just did a 10 week beginner course in Director at Hackmey Community
College.
2 hours a week. Cost me £70. Perfect way to test the water. I was the only
student 1 week so I got to look at Adobe Premier on Mac - so thats another
program I can put on my CV under "exposure to".
This September I fancy a one year part time intro to typography course at
the London College of Printing. Joshua Davis started out doing one of these
I think.
Many courses to choose from down here in London (unfortunatley prices go up
if you are looking for a qualification although if you are unemployed they
can be very affordable)
Anyone done the Certified Webmaster thing?
Andrew
