I'm making some progress.... stumbled across Expat, which seems far easier
to use than Xerces.

Still not quite sure about the rest though!

Has anyone got experience with XML?

I need to get started on it, and have stumbled across the first obstacle -
the XML parser.

I was looking at the Xerces parser (on xml.apache.org) and wasn't really
sure how to get it installed on my server.

I'm then looking at RPC's and thinking great... now I'm really confused...

and when I wonder how the hell you use it, I think damn, it must be time to
go home.

Please please please help me out here... I'm definitely starting to sink on
this one!
