This talk scared me into checking my Proxy Server protection and basically
it was crap. It's good for controlling Web and main access on a user basis
but not much cop at protecting you from the outside or from dodgy torojan
horses trying to connect to the outside world.

I've just installed the trial version of ZoneAlarm Pro 2.6 on top of Proxy
Server on Win 2K and it seems great. It asks for confirmation before any
program or network is allowed connection to the Internet. It also
successfully blocked all of the 'probings' from grc.com.
