You can either use the Microsoft XMLDOM COM component which does all of the
formatting for you or you can just build the file by hand using the
FileSystemObject component. Have a look at 4guysfromrolla.com for more
info.

in theory is it simple enough to convert a csv file to xml with asp , ?

it needs to be a web page where you can search for a csv file 9format will
always be the same) upload it and have the output displayed as xml.

any clues on where to start appreciated - this is my first asp project, so
keep it basic guys ;-)
