hmm.. I think a seperate forum would be a lot of hassle and people won't be
bothered to change. Besides, a lot of threads start off sensible and
freelance related and gradually drift off.
I think stating 'off topic' is a good idea. People can choose to ignore it
if theyre busy, read it or bin it.
One question - are things related to business, ie tax, money, viruses,
spamming on or off-topic?

I don't particularly mind the off-topic posts, but the number of them has
begun
to out-weigh the 'worthwhile' posts.
Admittedly a number of these have been people rather immaturely posting
spoof
subjects in an attempt to make some kind of point. One or two are also just
the
ramblings of clearly bonkers members of the list (naming no names).
I believe the old separate list was the FN-PRO list and failed due to lack
of
interest in the idea, rather than any other reason.
In summary, I'll stay firmly on the fence ;o)
