Hardly though not for want of trying (the £200+ pw DLA would come in handy)
No I wasn't saying this particular site is rubbish. I thought there was room
for improvement (but there always is, particularly in so called "new media"
which is never finished perhaps that's the whole point). But to say that
something is ART because it serves no useful function is a flawed argument,
especially when it can also be literally applied to the things we discard.
Art on the other hand does perform a function an aesthetic function it may
be just decorative, or it may say something. or sell something or someone
(it may be meant to sell the artists talents) but it always has an intention
and is always meant to serve a function and can be judged on how well (or
poorly) it performs that function.
