I can't help with the how much to get paid part, but I was wondering what
camera you were using.

I've spotted a coolpix 990 for sale for £400 and I was wondering whether to
get it....... apparently it needs 14 piks for a panorama : not good for
shots with people / movement in surely.

Dunno though..... I'd have to get the tripod and the head as well.

large amounts of dough.... and like you say, a car is needed as well.
