RE: FN-FORUM Hosting for Freelancers

Hi All,
Often the problem. We develop in ASP and many of the cheaper reseller
packages only run on Unix. OK I don't want to start an argument about ASP
vs PHP. I just don't know PHP and am not sure how easy it is to convert one
to the other etc.

Doesn't www.dsvr.co.uk VS300 beat that? £300 per year with up to 300 domains
and no further set up charges each time you add a domain?
Their Virtual Server is like sitting on your own UNIX box - you get your own
copy of Apache to configure as you want - your own MySQL database to
configure etc.
Rather than being tied into someone elses idea of a reseller package the
DSVR route means you get to define re-selling yourself - I charge some
customers £200 a year for hosting, others £500 depending on what level of
support they need - and I get to fit quite a few on each VS300 which only
costs £300 per year.
Paul.
p.s. - I'm not connected to DSVR in any way - just a happy customer.
