The good old bbc1 and 2 don't have adverts so that blows tv theorists views
out the window.
However see your point. I guess you would only go to the site with the
advert if you were interested in the product/service anyway.

why's anyone going to watch the ad? TV theorists say that TV programs are a
reward/payment in return for watching advertising alright some people turn
over or make a cup of tea but what do people get for watching these online
