AAVOOOIIIID THEM.
I'm based in Aberdeen and have crossed swords with these punks a few times.
They have a great sales team and a bad reputation for not completing what
they start. They have been going for a long time and are a major player in
the city.
In my opinion they are responsible for the poor uptake on web technology in
the area. Shite sites, shite service and they never listen to the clients.
I mean it.
I cant stress the contempt I have for them strongly enough. They are the
archtypal cowboy outfit. The only reason they are still going is that they
blagged lots of big accounts before anybbody know how to build websites.
They are great at lock in clauses too.
If you want ADSL get it elsewhere.

Naughty people haven't submitted their annual accounts for two years.
Not good, as this is the only way that you can check if they are pulling
a fast one or not.
I would suggest that you either go with a major player [demon, etc.], or
straight to BT. This way you know you're getting a good deal. There can
not be that much variation in pricing as the ISP's margins are pathetic
so they're subsidised by marketing budgets, etc.

hey all,
recently got a call from a company called internet for business ltd
(aparently not related to internet solutions for business or internet 4
business) offering an adsl connection.
anyone had any good/bad experiences with them?
they offer two packages that interest me:
small business - connection via usb @ 256Kbits/512Kbits
pro business - connection via ethernet port & router @ 256Kbits/512Kbits
obviously the routed solution would provide easy connection for multiple
pcs which i require but its a bit out of my price league. it is
possible and if so how easy is it for the connection to be shared
accross a windows 2000 network. currently the network shares a modem
dial up account which was very simple to set up and im guessing a
similar thing could be done with an adsl usb connection. can anyone
help me out here??
