Craig, there's a few of us based round tyneside on the freelance list - it's
not massively busy round here, but I get the impression that is the case for
many people round the country. It depends on your skills and expectations I
guess, but with your programming background you should be able to find
something - and the cost of living is certainly much cheaper than London.
