RE: FN-FORUM Contract Rates For London
date posted 28th August 2001 19:49
HI Andrew,
Not sure about ASP, but would imagine it's similar to ASP.
A contract Cold Fusion developer is usually around £25-£30 per hour, and
anything from £200-£400 per day (although some are as high as £800/day). As
a travel lodge or Ibis is around £60/day in London (although this can be
reduced to £30-£40 for longer stays) I'd just whack on another £50/day.
Personally wouldn't worry about flights, etc if the job is longer than a
week or two as flights are so cheap nowadays.
Cheers for now,
Ross

Subject: FN-FORUM Contract Rates For London
Hi,
Im not sure if this is totally relevant so apologies if its not applicable
here, but, I need to get an idea of the rates for a web developer in and
around the London area.
The work will involve developing in ASP, with VB components and MTS etc. Ive
got a fair idea of what this should probably be per hour, but when its
supposed to include accomodation and flights Im at a loss.
How do you work something like accomodation into a daily rate, aswell as
weekly flights to and from Belfast, from Heathrow ?
Any help or suggestions at all would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
