Subject: Blueyonder (was Re: FN-FORUM sunday break)
Hi all
I've had a Blueyonder Cable Modem for some time now. It was working
wonderfully, until one morning it went to renew it's lease and discovered
there wasn't one provisioned for it. A tech came out the next day to
diagnose it as that, and after speaking to his supervisor I was told it
would be sorted out the following day. Of course it wasn't, nor the next
day, nor the next. In the end I had 4 weeks of outage, until eventually one
of the tech support blokes in the call centre used his own initiative and
got me back online in about 10mins.
They are quite good, however most ppl I've spoken to have had a horrible
time as soon as something has gone wrong with them. TBH though you can't
beat them for the price.
Norman
