Alex,
How much do you resell Thawte certs for?
Thanks,
Matt

Definitely go with Thawte, their certs are exactly the same as everybody
elses. They are loads cheaper AND they know what they are talking about. We
resell certs, on the Thawte site application pages you have a choice of 30
or 40 different webservers to choose from, when BT were first set up they
listed about 3 (IIS, Netscape and one other) and when we asked them if they
could supply certs for Apache mod_ssl they didn't know. They are simply
resellers for Verisign but they know nothing about the technology they are
selling.
They also take ages to issue a cert, we can get a Thawte cert done from the
client applying to me installing it in 3 days if all their (the clients)
paperwork is in order.
We did a BT Trustwise one the other week, there was a problem with it, so
they just left it, didn't phone us or anything. It took 3 weeks to go
through in th end! Basically they are a typical crap BT company.
Cheers,
Alex.
