http://www.xaraxone.com and have a look at XaraX software - it's extremely
versatile, you can export to PNG format AND it does dotted lines !

I believe the only way is to use the stroke tool bar and select hard line,
and the use a texture like hatch or Line-Vert

Hi Ewan,
Draw a line, select it, and in the 'stroke' tab, use one of the 'grid'
textures from the texture drop down box and set the percentage value (next
to it) to 100%.

I feel embarrassed now.
In fireworks, how can you make a dotted line using the line tool? Im either
being totally useless and unobservant or you can't do it.
