Not annoying, no.
As far as the site goes I like it but, you seem to have sacrificed function
for design in the readability stakes, i.e. the text is a tad bit too small I
think its the lighter grey on the white that is the worst the black text is
OK, agreed it does look very clean, and although I had a few probs reading
at 1024X768 my usual resolution and dropped back to 800x600 was OK.
How ever I only did this because a request had been made to test a site if I
just been surfing I would have probably left with out the res change.
Perhaps you could a detect in to check the users screen resolution and have
two slightly different designs for users above and below 600x800.
