FN-FORUM does this make sense or not?!

i am so thin on work, this guy is making me a deal... he likes my work, but
for this i must pretend that all my work is done by 4D media - i.e. i am an
employee of them and have nothing to do with djh-graphics... i am not sure
it can work... even if i agreed to it, some of my sites mentioned design by
djh-graphics etc... the two sites are www.djh-graphics.com and
www.4dmedia.com - now normally i would tell the guy where to go, but at the
moment the proverbial beggars cannot be choosers... your thoughts?
PS does every mail header have to start with FN-FORUM or not?!

It was good to talk to you earlier.

I think it's important that we're both clear about what we want.

I want to...
offer a quality design service to complement my consultancy service
build a bank of new clients who will also buy domains, web hosting, etc.
associate 4D Media with your clients/portfolio
make money

As I understand it, you want to generate a regular stream of profitable
work.

I therefore propose the following as the most suitable way forward.

4D Media will re-vamp its website and seek to increase traffic
The new website will present your skills and portfolio as 4D Media's own
skills and portfolio
All 4D Media's new design work will be offered to you on a first refusal
basis

If you accept work from 4D Media, we will pay you an hourly rate (to be
agreed). We will charge the client between 15-20% more than we pay you. We
will deal with admin, invoicing and payments, and we will be responsible for
any bad debts. We will pay you regular installments during long-term work,
and we will pay you promptly.

You will obviously be free to take on work from other sources too - I
wouldn't expect to interfere or take commission on any of that. You wouldn't
be under any obligation to accept any work I offered you.

As the re-vamping of the 4D Media site would primarily be intended to
generate work for you, I would expect a significant discount on the design
fees. I can put up £300. What do you think?
