Thanks for everyones input.

No the blocks are what I'm trying to balance out, or in other words they
shouldn't be there. But trying to explain to the client that the text is just
to big and bulky isn't an easy task.

The notches under the curve are intentional.

As for the content, thanks for the comments Kathy (I think it was) I will
pass them on to the owner however this guy is a writer who has published a
number of books so I am really leaving the spelling / grammer etc down to him
as I cannot compare to a pro writer.
