I have had nothing but *bad* experiences with .net magazine.
I called them a while ago to simply ask them to review some internet
software (which is what I though the magazine was all about) and I was told
by the editor (Paul Douglas) that they didn't have enough time.
Hmmm.
I presume if was to buy plenty of advertising, they would find time for me
then.
My girlfriend, as a trade journalist and PR person, sent them a press
release for another company - it took weeks to put together. She rang them
after a week to be told "We wont use it, bye". Those were the exact words
from, again , Paul Douglas. No explanation, nothing. If there was just a
simple sentance, like "thanks for sending it in, unfortunately we cannot run
that article becuase......" then everyone would understand.
I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
