Unreadable CD on a mac

Help!

Just had a CD posted from a client with an urgent brief and details on and
it says 'unreadable' and gives me the option to initialise as 'Pro DOS OK'.

Usually can read PC CDs on a mac, is there an extension I'm missing or
something? I have DirectCD extension so it's not that.
