Re: FN-FORUM Unreadable CD on a mac
date posted 5th January 2002 18:17
have you checked the disc in a pc.
i regularly burn cd's on a pc and read them on a mac - i recently sent one
off to a friend who had just bought a new mac - and it came up with the same
problem as you say - the only conclusion i could come up with is either his
cd-drivers were not ok or i had overlooked a mistake whilst writting the
disc - if you read pc-discs with no problem on your mac - it was probably a
mistake whilst writting it - my old pc wrote discs using easy cd creator and
the only difference on screen when it is finished is a red cross instead of
a red tick which i probably overlooked.
?
i shall ask him to mail the disk back and check it
