OK, I'm buggered.

Reinstalled an app, or rather tried to, but it didn't like it one bit.
Gonna go for the format, just hope that I've a USB port on the back of this
beastie to burn my data via.

Loads of DLL's not linked to missing export file...

Gonna do some drinking now, so y'all have a peachy evening.
