We have a client who we just managed to extricate from a Demon showroom
account - boy was that a nightmare - very unhelpful company in every
way. Trying to work out what our client had and hadn't paid for from the
labyrinthine billing statement was a thankless task. We wondered whether
it was because we were closing the account down but the client assured
us that they were that obstructive for the duration of their
relationship. Some of the items on the showroom deal beggared belief -
over £100 just to register a .co.uk domain for a year? Madness,

I have a client who's site *will* be hosted with demon. He said they
are on one of the showroom deals and there are lots of features
disabled. Didn't look into it yet though. Apparently you can upgrade.

Anyone here have experience of Demon hosting? We are having problems
configuring a client's site to deal with SSIs - our feeling is that
something in the host setup is overriding our .htaccess file. Any ideas?
