if you set windows so that php files get opened by default by notepad, it
will save them then without the .txt on the end!

i'm a bit tit-up with the way windows saves unrecognized file types.
everytime i use notepad and want to save file types such as .php they end up
in .php.txt. how can i get rid of this hassle?
