Hi Ian,
My editor friend at LS US said he was schooled to, for the most part, use a
verb when beginning a site description, e.g., "Find out more about this
athlete...", "Lists stats and schedule for Team XYZ...", "Offers a profile
of the now broken-down, alcoholic ballplayer who was once a contender in
this business..." and etc.
It's a shame there really aren't any listings like his last example. It
would make for better reading :)
I also know there is a character limit in the listings field (at least their
was with their old editorial tool).
