Why not? I've been a freelancer for four years and haven't managed to get
ripped off yet, I have turned away jobs though and I've cancelled clients
who have made unreasonable requests. I can understand why you've had a
problem with an occasional client but the way everyone goes on in this forum
you'd think that being a freelancer was the worst job on earth - which begs
the question: why bother?
