I'm relatively new to this forum too.
I've been working as a self-employed web / software developer for about 3
years.

I agree that Project Management is very important.
But I am very unlikely to use your services.

Possibly because our projects are rarely big enough.

But,
we've just landed a really big project.

However,
we've tried using various different Sales people,
and the problem is that the best people at sales is us,
because we understand the business, the industry and the technology.

Similarly,
I feel that the best people to manage our projects are us.

If we get snyded out with work,
then what we need are more developers.

At that point, we take on more of a project management / consultancy role,
and the new developers do more of the work.

I don't know how representative of others this view is.

But that's my honest opinion, since you asked.
