Yeah they were shit and the crowd down the front were
more intersted in the mega mud battle. Some guy off his
head and half caked in mud was clearing a huge
circle right at the front of the stage by rushing the crowd.
Far more entertaining than L7 as people were slipping and sliding
trying to get out of the way and ending up flat on their back as
a result. As I remember this guy was carrying a soggy, muddy woolen
blanket and a small bottle of vodka, he must of cleared a circle 40ft wide,
running from one side to the other. At some stage he fell over and
the whole crowd rushed him, wrapped the blanket round him and kicked
as much mud over him as possible. I think he gave up and just sat there
grinning after that. Until some girls took pity on him and helped him up.
L7 didn't stand a chance.
