Correct. It is just a text file (giving instructions as to the location and
preferences for the media clip) saved with an .asx extension.
ASF is active streaming format while WMA is windows media audio - you can
rename their respective extensions at will (in my experience) and both will
play. I would extrapolate from this that WMV would be windows media video,
but my experience is with audio files, so slap me if I'm wrong....
