Re: FN-FORUM Server prices - Dell vs Compaq etc

We use Dell at school (& across the LEA) for both PCs and servers, as prices
are so good on bulk purchases, but don't wait for them to answer the phone,
let alone come out and fix anything. We have seperate tech support, on a buy
back arrangement through the local authority, so it is not an issue. The
actual hardware does its job pretty well, without being spectacular, and the
network seems secure and stable - but I guess that is as much to do with the
config as the equipment.
Cheers, Paul.
