Well at £1800 a month I'd be looking for a partnership deal with Freeserve
rather than search engine results and I'd leave altavista well alone (its
been dead since the ISP fiasco and their technology was overtaken by
google).
If you are interested in paying to appear in search engines use google's ad
words and overture.com (used by freeserve, MSN...).Yahoo.co.uk use espotting
(from the 16 year old that featured on trouble at the top).
Depending on what it your flogging an affiliate schemes may well be a better
approach.
