RE: FN-FORUM Java & frames
date posted 27th January 2002 17:34
Hi,
The documentation on the applet you are using indicates that you need to
set extra PARAMeters to control the frame in which links open.
See www.anfyteam.com . This behaviour is entirely down to the applet
that you are using but setting the target frame *should* rectify the
problem.
Regards,
Rob

Subject: FN-FORUM Java & frames
This is the first time ive split a page into frames and i seem to have a
problem.
There are two frames top and bottom,
the top frame holds a java cube aplet which links to a shopping page
the bottom frame holds some streaming music (swf)
here it is:
http://www.richardbaileys.freeserve.co.uk/curbe/curbe.html
When i click on the java cube, it goes to the shopping page but breaks
out
of the frame, so the music in the bottom frame doesnt continue to play
as it
should.
Is it because i havent set up the frames properly? or is it the Java
aplet
forcing out of the frame?
If so can i rectify this so that the music continues to play in the
bottom
frame while the viewer surfs within the top frame.?
Few - out of breath
Rich
