RE: FN-FORUM Site check/help
date posted 27th January 2002 18:10
Hi,
I get error 'document.window.frame' is null or not an object in IE6.0
running on XP upon loading although the site does appear fine.
If you add items to the shopping cart then go Search, then Home, then
Checkout the shopping cart shows as empty.
As for the 2nd point, I'd change the redirect to point to the home page
(frontpage.htm) and just redirect that frame back to there. With
redirects via META tags you cannot specify another frame.
Regards,
Rob

Hi,
New site needs checking please: http://www.makitadirect.co.uk/ - Tested
on
IE5.5/W2k OK
Also needs some advice, when you click on the checkout button on this
site
(with an empty basket) your re-direct to the footer page in the main
frameset. Anyone know how to use JavaScript to check contents of a
frameset
and re-direct as necessary?
var frameName = document.window.frame.name; Is giving me script errors!
Regards Simon
