sms via icq takes ages to go through.

best bet for a freebie is to do what i did last year - find a free web-based
sms provider and piggyback their set-up using the likes of xmlhttp/winhttp.
alas they secured against my method and i never got around to circumventing
it, so its not a perfect setup...

Hi All,

I remember someone mentioning a while ago about using ICQ to send SMS
messages - does this work?

Does anyone know of a service whereby I can just include the relevant
information (Telno,message) - I'm looking for a preferably free service, but
I don't mind advertising the hell out of the company that provide it if
thats whats needed.
