Its been dead for a while now and off and on, hardly reliable by all
accounts. There is an icq newsgroup that is regularly updated

Hi All,

I remember someone mentioning a while ago about using ICQ to send SMS
messages - does this work?

Does anyone know of a service whereby I can just include the relevant
information (Telno,message) - I'm looking for a preferably free service, but
I don't mind advertising the hell out of the company that provide it if
thats whats needed.
