The only thing that realy bugs me is the fact that on 800*600 we need a bit
of horizontal scrollling, I don`t mind vertical but horizontal for some

how about looking around for another isp for the purposes of uploading - i
recently used bt pay as you go with fetch ftp on a mac - the whole 5MB
(1000plus file) uploaded in one go - sorted.

Why don't you put the images on the server filesystem and only have
references to them in the DB? - (e.g "image.gif" in col "ImageName" or
whatever) - this will speed up your database...

Yeah I have found this too. It is really annoying!
Not sure how to get round this to be honest, maybe have a preloader class
that loads quickly then pulls in the other code perhaps.
