loads & loads of the same message

What the heck? I've just turned on my 'puter and Outlook has just =
downloaded 7346 (yes, no decimal point there) messages from =
Freelancers!!!! More to the point, there are only 4 different messages, =
each repeated ad infinitum.

My mail server is BT connect. Anyone else experiencing this?
