Try FlaskMPEG - not had any problems with it.
It'll take a DVD image and convert it to MPEG. :)
You can then use Windows Media Encoder to take it from there.

Doesn't QXpress draw it's own preview though?
I sent a QXpress file to a bureau using Macs, and they said they had the
same problem, so it's obviously something to do with my files - any
suggestions?...
