If price is not a significant I really really really recommend the new iMac.
If price is more significant I recommend the old iMac. If an x86 PC is
required, then I recommend a regular PC notebook.
Alternatively, you can buy flatscreen PCs now, in the base you get a CD-ROM
drive, floppy drive, and all the main components, and it takes up no more
than 6 inches of depth. They cost between £700 and £1400, dependant on spec.
