Cheers ,got the UAM folder on the desktop of the mac.
It seems to be locked. can open files but not save them. Have checked the

in the IIS MMC goto the properties, Home Directory.
At the bottom you'll see Application Protection (which will be set at Medium
(pooled) ) - next to it is a button which says Unload.
