Database Connectivity - the hard way
date posted 30th April 2002 20:13
hi all
please dont fall off your chairs laughing at this one. My clients ISP doesnt
support ASP PHP or in their words "any similar modern tech" (i thought the
internet was mordern).
i need to display data from a simple Ms Access database (1 table with a
dozen or so columns) on a simple page. it must be 'Access' as the data will
be updated at the end of every day from their live database. and thus giving
the impression that the data being viewed is live, when it isnt. This
database will have about 100-200 lines representing engineering sites around
the uk, and the various stages of the works. the unique key will be the
Nominal Site ID number.
So when you recover, any sugestions?
....apart from get a real isp
