RE: FN-FORUM photography site check

Hi there - thought I'd help you out a bit.

Tried looking at your site using IE6 on XP with a 56k modem.

First and foremost, I haven't looked at the entire site as after 5
minutes I gave up.

Could I also suggest a loading movie? The front page appears to be
complete before your swf file has finished downloading giving the
impression that you can start navigating the site. When you then get to
a blank page (because the movie hasn't finished loading) it gets
confusing when pushing the back button on the browser takes you to the
splash screen.

However, you asked to check downloading and speed and on a 56k modem
it's totally unrealistic - maybe a broadband warning or something on the
frontpage if it's designed to be broadband content?
