RE: FN-FORUM photography site check
date posted 21st June 2002 17:38
Thanks for the comments. This is my first complete site done in Flash
(4) and though there are many tutorials for doing individual actions I
can't find any that tell you the best actions to use to assemble a site!
I did use a preloader - I don't understand why it doesn't work.
On the pictures layer, I have the first lot of pictures on two frames
and the second lot of pictures on frames 7&8. I have an actions layer
beneath it with 'play' and 'stop' on the two frames and the same under
the next pictures. Is this the best way?
I can't test on dial up either as my phone line is downstairs. I may set
up my old iMac to it next time I get a free internet CD through the door.
His clients are mostly design agencies and mail order so most will
probably have broadband but i'll try and compress the file further. The
swf is 400k at the moment.
Thanks
Lindsey Hill
