RE: FN-FORUM Any knowledge of this company

Dear Dennis,
I am also at this juncture for a client of mine and finding that there is
not one simple way. There are literally numerous ways that this industry
makes (and this in turn makes for numerous headaches). You can deal direct
with the bank by applying for a merchant account or go via one these
www.web-merchant.co.uk who do teh transactions on your behalf etc..
The real issue depends soley on the type of products / or services tah t you
are selling and how tight the margins are in that sector. For example, go
via the web merchat route and a lot of hasle may be taken out on your behalf
but the charge per transaction will be higher whereas going direct to the
bank will make the charge less but more paparework etc..It is simply a trade
off, I have not concluded my research therefore can not offer an answer as
yet...but another one to look at may be www.epdq.com but there charges are a
little to much in my opinion...
If you come across something really good then pls post to the board
hopefully giving me some tips too..
Regards
Ausaf
