The thing to do is to avoid looking at the screen until you've finished a
word (or it bleeps because it hasn't got a clue what you're trying to type!)
and only press the keys once per letter, instead of multiple times in order
to get the second/third/fourth characters.

Works for me and I leave it enabled on my 6210 all the time now. Hlps me snd
non-SMS-kidE msgs qkly. ;-)
