Twenty years ago a girl I was friendly with left private school with 10
grade A O-levels, one of which was Latin. She was asked to send her C.V. to
a prospective employer. She didn't have a clue what one was.
I remember laughing till I cried at the complete waste of the most expensive
education Yorkshire could provide. My wasted education was all state
provided, although it would have been a lot better if they had provided some
teachers along with the classrooms.

Nope, it means a load of M$ bollocks generally. You wouldn't believe the
nonsense I've had to argue over recently, from a client who insisted it was
correct because it had been done in Word...
Send them all to grammar schools and make them do Latin, half the people who
leave school are functionally illiterate, rant, fume...
