Meta tags to match body text, and relevant h1 h2 s etc and proper page
titles rather than index. Seperate content from layout as far
as poss with css - good for SEs and also for text/audio browsers, with a
mind to accessibility. Layout the information in the html in the order of
relevance to SEs of your keywords, even if that is not the same order the
information is displayed visually - again, the marvels of css, rather than
the constraints of tables. That should give you something to go on...

Yes, we have a number of top tens in Google and MSN and no, it hasn't
brought in extra clients for us - but it has brought in extra sales/bookings
etc for our clients whose sites are listed, so they are pleased.
