Did you see the link for the js hack
http://www.bw3.co.uk/download/sleight.zip - feel free to have a go with it
yourself. It works on IE 5.5 and up, PC and Mac, so with the support from
Opera/Moz makes using pngs just about a reality. Looks like a slightly
jagged gif on NN4 but people using that must be quite used to things looking
shite by now!!
